Choosing a filmmaker is harder than choosing a photographer, because you can’t see a whole film at a glance. These are the questions we would ask.
How do you record sound? Vows and speeches are the heart of most wedding films. Ask whether the celebrant and the speakers wear microphones, and whether there is a backup.
When will we get our films? A teaser in 48 hours is lovely. A feature film usually takes six to ten weeks. Ask for dates in the contract.
Can we see a full film? Highlight films are always beautiful. Ask to watch a complete feature film from a day like yours.
