Filming at Aldcot Manor: a venue guide

We have filmed eleven weddings at Aldcot Manor. These are the notes we wish we had before the first one.
The walled garden faces west, so ceremonies after three o’clock are backlit. The library is the best room if it rains.
Golden hour on the lime avenue is around 8.15pm in June. Plan twenty minutes there and you won’t regret it.
